Velvet Jack – Fun Friday…

We are up in Maryland and Pennsylvania visiting family for the Labor Day Weekend.  This is a great refreshing drink to end the summer with.  Have a happy and safe holiday weekend everyone!

 

Velvet Jack

1/2 oz. Chambord
1.5 oz. Jack Daniel’s Whiskey
3 oz. sour mix

Mix all ingredients in an ice filled shaker and pour inot glasses.  Serve with a twist of lemon.

    You know what? It’s 2 o’clock in the afternoon and I need this! I make a drink maybe twice a year and apparently, today is a good day for it. I wonder if I could call it dinner and then just have birthday cake for dessert?
