|Spiced Pecans with Cinnamon and Sea Salt|
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (the recipe calls for ¼ teaspoon, but I added a bit)
- 1 egg (discard the yolk)
- 1 lb pecans
- Whip the egg white until foamy and then add the pecans. Mix until all of the nuts are coated.
- Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add this to the pecans and stir until the pecans are evenly coated with this sugar mixture.
- Very lightly grease two baking sheets and evenly distribute the pecans between the two pans. Spread the pecans out and bake for 1 hour. Stir every 15-20 minutes ensuring that they do not burn. Let cool.
