- About 4-5 mint leaves
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 2½ ounces bourbon (we used Maker's Mark)
- Additional mint leaves for garnish
- Place the 4-5 mint leaves and simple sugar in the bottom of your glass and muddle well to release the oils from the mint.
- Add bourbon, ice and stir. Garnish with more mint leaves
